Wendy Cleveland, who leads His Hands Aglow in Eagle River, AK, and her friend Lisa Munson were asked by Eagle River Christian School to share about the missions work that Aglow is doing right in their own community of Eagle River.
The His Hands Aglow ministers in sign language during praise and worship and had the opportunity to teach each group that they visited with a praise and worship song in American Sign Language. The age of the children ranged from 3-year olds through 5th grade. As Wendy and Lisa spoke to the groups, a Power Point was shown with pictures that corresponded with pictures of the different ways Aglow does mission work in the community.
Lisa shared about the Prison ministry that takes place every Tuesday afternoon at a local correctional facility where the current Bible study being taught is LifeChangers, a course taught by Graham Cooke via DVD. The ladies love this study and look forward to the next study, GameChangers, also by Graham Cooke.
After the visit to Eagle River Christian School, Wendy said, “The students were adorable, the staff was fabulous, and the opportunity was a gift from God!”
